About Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS)
This is the third year Harpswell has helped Chuhuiv. And the wonderful nonprofit Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) has again graciously agreed to be our nonprofit 501c3 partner.
The TAPS International division is bringing hope and healing worldwide to those grieving the death of a loved one in defense of freedom, and to build stable societies for the surviving victims of conflict. And we can help by bringing hope and healing to Chuhuiv. TAPs has been helping Ukraine since 2014 when Russia invaded Crimea. Bonnie Carroll, TAPS founder and president, connected Harpswell with Chuhuiv in 2022, and will help us make sure Harpswell’s gifts are delivered to Chuhuiv.
Chuhuiv is suffering daily in a war that has entered its 5th year. They have sacrificed so much to protect their citizens, culture, religion, language, borders…their very country. Please don’t let them be forgotten. Help Harpswell help Chuhuiv.
